"Stay Ready" - Thinking Out Loud

This is an oldie, but goodie! I recorded a devotional talk with student leaders around 2018.

In this talk, we reflect on the Bible Passage Matthew 24:42, with the following key takeaways on how we can stay ready as leaders:

✅ Stay close to vine: Building a strong relationship with Christ is essential for staying ready. Connect wdivineith the divine and be in tune with His guidance and purpose.

✅ Seize opportunities: Be prepared to take action when opportunities are presented. Whether it's speaking at an event or engaging in a meaningful conversation, doing the work to be ready allows you to make the most of these moments.

✅ Leadership is a service: As leaders, it's important to recognize that our role is not about seeking the spotlight, but rather about serving others. By connecting with Christ and sharing His love, we can have a positive impact within our communities.

Remember, leadership is not a solo journey. Surround yourself with a supportive community, whether it's close friends, family, or fellow believers, who can help you stay accountable and motivated.
